2024 YOUTH RIFLE SHOOTING PROGRAM

4 Position Youth Small Bore Rifle League

The Chicopee Sportsmen’s Club is proud to be able to offer this summer, A youth shooting opportunity for all shooters between the ages of 12 and 19 years of age.

NRA 4 position rifle is shot with a 22 caliber single shot rifle, with metallic sights at a range of 50 feet. The 4 positions are Standing, Kneeling, Sitting, and Prone.

We will be conducting this league on Wednesday nights during the summer beginning at 5:30 pm. The program will run for 10 weeks.  You can expect to be cleaned up and leaving the range by 7:30 pm. We will be starting on Wednesday 6/21/2023 and shooting every Wednesday with a 2 week break for the 7/26/23 and 8/2/22 weeks.

This opportunity is available for all youth shooters regardless of experience level. All shooting activities will be supervised by instructors certified by the NRA for range safety and rifle proficiency.

There are 15 open positions this year and in the past several years we have been at capacity, so please contact me as soon as possible to secure your position.  The cost of the program is $10 per week.  We will be providing all of the necessary equipment including rifles, ammo, and all safety gear.
